As I was drawing the image on the right, a video capture application was running on my machine, diligently recording each stroke, fill, and undo. I did the whole thing in Adobe Flash (that’s still a weird thing to type), which I tend to use for pretty much everything. I currently ink and tone Weird Adventures in Unemployment in Flash and my upcoming project with James Turner (of which you can see samples here and here) is almost entirely done in Flash. My part, anyway. James is using paper, which I hear is also an option.

I didn’t put this together for any reason other than the fact I could, but I’m really happy with the capture program. I downloaded the demo and will probably do a few more doodly bits like this, but I’m going to hold off on purchasing it for now. Unless someone wants to purchase it for me, in which case I will do TONS more videos. But I don’t see that happening. If you’re interested, though, let me know.
