Joe Dunn and Phil Chan have started a project called Turtle Vs Bunny on the Digital
Pimp website that’s nothing short of entertaining and creative.  It’s a meta retelling of the old “tortoise vs hare” tale from everyone’s youth, but the weekly outcome is decided by the site’s fans.  Pin-ups, t-shirt sales, banner creation, and several other tokens of support offer up points that propel either the bunny or turtle closer to the finish line.  Every week there’s a new comic strip documenting who’s come out ahead.

I’ve done a couple pin-ups myself.

It’s a great idea for pulling in new overall readers and creating some buzz among the Pimp faithful.  I’ll be picking up a t-shirt to support the cause.  Anyone who’ll be at the New York Comic Con this weekend should do the same.

For what it’s worth, I’m with Turtle.  But I’m sure you know that, since it’s just right.
