Oh, man…you’ve got to get the new Beck album, Guero. It’s just fantastic. I’m not a die-hard Beck fan, although I enjoyed Mellow Gold, and even Odelay to a certain degree. This new album just has a lot of flavor and resonance to it. I’ve listened to it repeatedly without losing interest or feeling the urge to skip specific tracks. It’s just a solid album.
At first I was iffy, but the more I listen to it the more I dig it…

the new Beck is the best friggin beck since Odelay, hands down, and I still think he is a modern day Genius.
